Fakes and scams

Real Galaxy Swapper never asks for your Epic password, a 2FA code, or a payment. Pages that promise free V-Bucks, sell a VIP swapper, or need you to log in with Epic are scams. Download only from the Download page on this site and ignore ZIP files sent in DMs.

Account risk

Changing game files can conflict with Epic's rules. Nobody can promise that an account will never be affected. If an account matters a lot to you, play with factory files: run Verify before ranked, tournaments, or any session where you cannot afford trouble.

Flex in pubs. Restore for rank.

Pubs and Creative are the runway. Ranked nights, factory Fortnite if you want zero drama.

What others see

Still your real locker. You are not hiding a default in Champion rank.

Crashes

A bad mesh in ranked is a leave and a cooldown, not a flex.

A simple rule

If your rank matters to you, run Verify in the Epic launcher before ranked sessions and play with factory files. Use swaps in public matches, Creative, and bot lobbies, where a crash or a rule question costs you nothing.

Crashes cost more here

A bad swap that crashes the game in a public match is annoying. In ranked it can mean a leave penalty and lost points. Test every new swap outside ranked first.

Creative is the photo booth

Calmer than ranked. Great lighting. Other players on the island still see your real set.

Hub maps

Other players on the island still see your real equipped set.

Photo maps

Great for your own screenshots. Useless as proof you “own” an OG skin.

Best place to test

Creative islands load fast, have good lighting, and let you respawn at will. That makes them the best place to check outfits, emotes, and gliders before you take a swap into a real match. Use a private island if you want to record clean footage.

Island grants

Some islands grant items or skins for the duration of the game. That is a separate system from Galaxy Swapper. A swap does not unlock island items, and island items do not change your swaps.

Clips and screenshots

Creative is the easiest place to capture clean footage because you control the lighting and can respawn to reset a pose. Just remember the footage shows a local look, not an unlock, so it is for your own highlights rather than proof of ownership.

No ramps means you see the harvest tool constantly. Fix that first, then outfits.

Pickaxe first

You see the harvest tool constantly. Fix dual-wield mismatches before outfits.

Movement items

Gliders and trails matter more when you rotate without ramps.

What you see most

In Zero Build you spend more time harvesting, sliding, and gliding between fights. Pickaxes, gliders, and contrails show up more often than in build modes, so they are the swaps worth getting right first.

Same install

Zero Build uses the same Fortnite install and the same files as other modes. A swap that works in Battle Royale works in Zero Build, and Verify restores both at once.

Mobility matters more

Without walls to hide behind you rotate in the open, so gliders, contrails, and emote-heavy movement are on screen constantly. Get those swaps looking clean first, then worry about the outfit, because a hitching glider is far more noticeable here than in build modes.

Chat sees your GPU

Chat saying “that’s not your skin” is half right. It is your pixels. Wear them.

OBS Game Capture

Sees whatever the client draws. No extra plugin.

Console capture

If you play on console, there is nothing to swap.

VOD proof

A VOD is not an unlock. Do not use it to sell accounts.

What viewers see

OBS, Streamlabs, and capture cards record what your client draws, so viewers see the swapped look. Other players in the match still see your real items. If a viewer says that is not your skin, they are right about the account and wrong about the pixels.

Do not use it as proof

A clip of a swapped rare skin is not proof of ownership. Do not use swapped footage to sell, trade, or show off accounts. That is the fastest way to get reported.

Ranked?

If the rank is sacred, restore first. Flex in pubs and Creative.

Unranked Creative instead?

Safer place to look at a mesh. Still a file mod.

UEFN grant item?

Island grants are a different system. The swapper does not talk to them.

Different paks for ZB?

No. Same Fortnite install.

Facecam required?

No. Also not a ToS shield.
